I think it was similar to Fern Gully, but not exactly. I thought it was awesome.

I had realistic expectations going it that it would be a beautiful parable and not as deep as advertised. And for those expectations, it was spot on. People who went in expecting an Oscar-winner were mislead, and thus disappointed.
